We are investigating a robbery which has been reported to us. It happened at 20:00 on Sunday the 8th of February at the Coop Store on Campleshon Road, York. The victim was threatened by a male wearing a mask and carrying a hammer , cash was taken from the till. A suspect was quickly arrested shortly after by response officers and enquiries are on going. Since this report the local Neighbourhood Policing Team have been carrying out reassurance patrols in the area.
